We (The Helms Family) have taken over public ownership of Riverside Golf Course in Sardis, Ohio. Like its
little sister, Fairway River Links G.C. , in Rayland, Ohio, Fairway's Riverside G.C. is located along the scenic Ohio River
and has been the victim of flooding several times over the past 15 years. The course,however, has survived
and will be restored to excellent playing condition. Our facility consists of an 18 hole par 72 championship course
with 3 sets of tees and a 9 hole par 33 executive course. We also have a lighted driving range. The beautiful
clubhouse was built in 1999 by the former owners, The Martin Family, and includes a proshop stocked with all your basic needs. Accepting most major credit cards.
Driving Directions:
40 minutes from Wheeling, WV.
Take Route 2 on the WV side to the New Martinsville bridge then cross
to Ohio and take Ste Rte 7 South to Sardis (2&1/2 mile).
The other option is to cross Wheeling Island (home of Wheeling Island
Racetrack & Gaming Resort) to Bridgeport, Ohio. Then pick up OH Ste Rte 7 South to Sardis.
We are about 45 mile North of the Marietta, OH / Parkersburg,
West Virginia
area. Take OH Ste Rte 7 North to Sardis for a great day
of golf.
Get-Away-Weekend
For those of you looking for a get-away weekend to our neck of the woods there are several nice
motels in New Martinsville, WV. AmeriHost Inn offers reasonable rates and Jacuzzi suites while
the family operated Plaza Inn offers reasonable rates with wifi in room.
If you're one of the many golfers who love to bowl too, Bruce Lanes is a must stop in New Martinsville.
It is owned and operated by former Pro Bowler, Keith Craycraft and his brother, Mike Craycraft.
